It’s tempting sometimes to play life safe. Take classes that’re hard, but not too hard. Go to college and get a degree that leads to a respectable but achievable job. Take that manageable job at the end of college and play it safe ‘till you’re eligible to retire.
But what if that’s not the life you’ve always dreamed of?
What if you don’t like playing it safe? What if you like living life on the edge, taking a risk, and getting out there?
I did two years at an expensive private college. I got (mostly) straight As there, I was on track to some type of employment and I hated it. To the surprise of my family, I dropped out to see what I could learn and achieve on my own.
This blog will not be my life story. Instead, it shall catalogue my exploration of three very specific travel related questions.
- How can you live cheaply on the road?
- How can you make money on the road?
- How can you meet interesting people on the road?
It will not be rants and reflections, but rather specific advice, reviews and information related to the resources that’re out there to achieve those three ends.
I hope that some piece of the information I provide will be a helpful contribution to the growing wealth of information out there today.
